It all started out so innocently...

He was just a teen who loved listening to techno and playing Dance Dance Revolution. He spent many an hour at any arcade he could find, playing until he was good enough to attract a decent crowd whenever he played. At the tender age of 17, he snuck into his first dance club. There, the music he so loved was loud enough to delightfully deafen. The grinding bass was so strong he could feel the vibrations run through his chest where it seemed to pump his heart all on its own. He was soon lost in the ocean of anonymous faces, dancing away throughout the night.

It continued not-so-innocently. A little color in his hair. A little more makeup. A little more ecstasy. A few more secret visits... He slowly began transforming into a new person. Like a neon butterfly with E dusted wings, he grew...

Just a little more... Just one more song...

Years after, the buttefly had spread its wings fully. He was seen nowhere without his artificial gold eyes under his starry-eyed, masked face. He didn't feel complete without his purple and green mohawk or his thick, serpentine dreadfalls.

Innocence lost in a sweat-covered crowd, painted hands pressed all over from people he'd never know and would never care to. This butterfly fluttered between others, gliding through the crowd, leaving trails of glitter behind, his mind on one goal: One more.

Just one more song... One more pill... One more dance... One more night... One more vice for his colorful soul as he sought to become the music and lights than deafened and blinded in that dark, dangerous, wonderous club.
