To bravely go where...many have gone before.

"Now really, it's not my fault that all the, well, decent spots have been explored already. You can't expect me to have the funds to go map out the Marianas Trench, right? And ugh, don't even talk about mountaineering. Hills are my worst enemy. I swear, you can't even go up one of these things without wheezing.

What I'd really like to explore? How about some nice pristine beaches, I can just pull up a beach chair and, uh, watch my surroundings. Yeah. Who says explorers have to walk everywhere?

It wasn't always this way. When I was a child, everything was new and exciting...Now I look back and wonder what was wrong with me. Look, those woods, that creek? God knows how many people have been there, taken photos, you get the idea. And it'd be a wonder if the creek hasn't gone dry, after all these years.

Yeah, go see the 'famous wonders'. You all look the same anyways, always the same pose next to the same landscape, monument, etc. Oh, it took me a few dozen trips to realize this, don't you worry. And what's the point of all this..a few souvenirs...trinkets..faded memories.

So what's there left for an armchair explorer like me? Nothing much...some chips...some soda...and we're good to go..
