"I'm sorry, Mrs. Holmes." A man in a long white coat murmured as the beeping of the heart monitor stopped. As a dark-haired woman flew into hysterics, another man recited the time. Caizlin looked from the corner of the room, invisible to the hysteric female woman and the two stoic men in uniform. Caizlin watched as the soul of the young woman began to leave her body. Seeing Caizlin, she begun to panic, but it was too late. The girl was already fading away and Caizlin closed in on the now empty vessel. Hovering over the weak looking body, Caizlin took control.

There was pain, lots of pain. The being screamed, the light burning. As she felt herself become what used to be the dying girl, it took all she had not to make anymore noise, open her eyes, or flinch. She could not move. Even with her eyes closed, the light burned. A woman gripped her shirt, pulling at it, clawing at her. The first thing Caizlin felt was the dampness on her abdomen, where the mother of the young woman's tears stained. She was mumbling incoherently. 'She was all I had left,' was one of the few things she could make out among the babbling. 'Baby, it's okay,' Well, of course it's okay, thought Caizlin. She's dead. Out of this miserable vessel. 'I'm so, so sorry.'

Oh, God, how long was this going to take?

So far, her experience as a demon occupying a dead woman's body was rather dull. Burning light behind her eyelids, a woman clawing her stomach, tears staining the hospital dress, and the heart monitor's constant noise. Luckily, one of the men unplugged the heart monitor and began to pull the tubes and needles out of her. It seemed like days until a few nurses were called in to drag the woman off of her. Screeching, kicking, screaming, the Mrs. Holmes was dragged out of the room, leaving just the two stone-faced men with greased back hair and five o' clock shadow gracing their faces. "Poor Monica." Caizlin heard one of the men utter. "I know. Becca was her only child."

Caizlin opened her eyes. The room was white and sterile, almost creepily so. To the right of her was a small table where a vase sat, assorted flowers drooping over the rim. How dull. Everything else was white and boring. The only amusing thing was the doctor's faces when they saw her eyes open. "Oh, good Lord." Caizlin rolled her eyes and raised an arm. Within an instant, the two men were against the wall, pinned by an invisible force. Getting up, the demoness glanced around the room as she was finally standing. Again, nothing important. Now, how in the hell was she supposed to get out?

It was funny to watch them struggle, to watch them try and yell, though with a closed fist, she began to tighten their throats. 'You're not here to harm, Caizlin.' She reminded herself. Releasing her grip, they fell, blacking out. Sighing, she went to the window and opened it. Looking down, she realized she was three stories up. "I've jumped from higher buildings." Smirking, the girl with a messy hair cut and a hospital dress climbed up on the windowsill and jumped.

Bones cracked. Standing, the bruises and blood began to fade. Suddenly, Caizlin stumbled. "Wo-oah. Gotta watch the 'magic' use, or whatever these people call it."
