next section, The Monkey House discusses the discovery of Reston virus among imported monkeys in Reston, Virginia, and the actions taken by the U.S. Army and Centers for Disease Control. the story then focuses on the Reston epizootic, a strain of the virus that does not affect humans but easily spreads by air. and lastly in section Smashdown. and lastly, the author finishes the novel with Kitum Cave, that tells of the author's visit to the back to the cave that is the suspected home of the natural host animal in which Ebola lives.
