Glade KumosLong walks on the beach under the silver moonlight. This is what I live for. I cannot even begin to express how amazing the feeling is, to feel the sand between your toes as you stroll along the water's edge. The peacefulness of the night completes it, as you are the only one on the beach with just the sound of the waves crashing on the shoreline. I live for the beach. I suppose it's pretty cliche to love the beach so much, considering I live in the Omen Islands.
I was born and raised here on this island and I have never left. This island is all that I know and I cherish every grain of sand on these shores. I just want to feel free and alive. I spend my days dashing through the wilderness in the center of the island, and I spend my nights laying under the palm trees on the beach with a nice drink and walking along the shoreline. I absolutely love the nighttime; it is my favourite time to explore these islands. I love sleeping under the blanket of stars each night, knowing that they'll never change. All my life I've looked up to the stars with so many questions about them. But I really just enjoy the blessing of clear nights every night, with the perfect view of these sparkles in the sky.
Of course, I can't forget my love for surfing. Every true islander knows how and loves to surf. The fact that I can share this wonderful life with my daughter, Aloha, really puts a smile on my face. Knowing that she's going to grow up on this same island and live a happy, active lifestyle is another one of the best feelings I have. I may live a typical islander lifestyle, but I'm perfectly fine with that. This is the life I love and I shall cherish every moment of it.
