"Go fetch my journal Dark." the dark creature whispered.
"Yes master." responded the dragon. The tiny dragon scurried off to fetch the his master's journal. The dark creature stared out the large window leading out to the Unknown Woods. Dark returned with the journal in hand."Here it is sir." he said.
"Thank you. Now leave me to my work." the creature ordered. As he said this Dark disappeared out of the room to leave his master alone.

"Good night everyone!" I yelled down the long hallway. I went into my room, shut the light off, and slipped into bed. After about ten minutes I drifted off to sleep...
I ran quickly from the horrid looking creatures that were following me. Every time it seemed they were slowing down they just sped back up.
"Man im never going to get away from them!" I said to myself. I hadn't been paying attention to anything infront of me when I tripped over a tree root. I tumbled to the ground."Oh great! Just what I need!!" I exclaimed. I turned my head preparing myself to find the creatures very close to me, but there was nothing there. It was if they had never been there. "Odd." I looked around to see where I was, but all I saw was trees and darkness for miles. "Where am I?" I asked myself. I didn't remember wandering into a dark, spooky forest... "Well I guess I should try to find a way out of here..." I said. I wasn't sure which way to go so I just picked a random direction. (Yes I know. Probly not the greatest idea.) "Man this is going to be a long walk...." I murmured.
I'd been walking for what seemed like hours when I wandered upon a large hole in the ground. "Whats this?" I asked myself. I peeked inside the hole to find a faint light further in. "Well its better then wandering around in the dark." I slid myself down the hole to find a tunnel. "Hmmm whats a tunnel doing way out in the middle of the woods :/ ?" I wondered. I walked through the tunnel towards the light. Just as I got close enough to touch it. It went out. "Oh great!" I thought to myself."Today is just NOT my day..." I reached out with my arms to find the sides of the tunnel but found nothing. " Thats odd..." I thought. I leaned to the right to touch the wall, but thats not what I touched. No... the thing I was touching was warm, it had a sort of fur, and seemed to give off a darkness.
"Can I help you?" It whispered.
"AHHHH!" I screamed. The thing I was touching had just talked! I tried to back away and run, but the thing just gripped my arm and held me there.
"What are you doing down here?" the voice asked.
"I-I-I was just ugh.. looking around." I replied.
"Heh... The master won't be pleased to hear you found this tunnel." It said.
"Master?" I asked.
"Yes. Now come. I have more important things to do then to watch you." it ordered.
"Where are we going?!" I asked alarmed. I wasn't about to wander through a pitch black tunnel with some person erm,well whatever this thing was, that I didn't know.
"Just follow me." it said. It started to drag me through the tunnel. I tried to shake it's grip off of me, but it was too strong. I figured I might as well just follow. At least this thing knew where it was going...
We arrived at the end of the tunnel and the thing became somewhat visible. It looked like...a dog? Well a very evil dog. Its fur was a purplish black and was knotted.
"Would you stop staring at me." It said.
"Ugh sorry.... so um. What's your name?" I asked.
"Drake. Now come we mu-". He was cut off by a horrid howling coming from the woods.
"What was that?!" I asked. I looked over when Drake hadn't answered me to find he wasn't there!"Hey! Where did you go?!!?!?" I'd finally noticed we were outside of the woods when I noticed a large werewolf type thing come rushing out. It wasn't the same thing as what had been chasing me before, but I could see the relation. I broke out into a run in the opposite direction of the creature. "Jeez this one is faster then the last ones!" As I ran further from the woods I saw a river filled with dark water. It was surrounded by deadly nightshade. "Well this doesn't look good..." I muttered to myself. The werewolf was closing in on me and my only hope was to keep running. I followed the river in hopes of finding a village. Finally in the distance I saw a huge castle. I looked back to see that the werewolf was catching up...fast. I tried to run faster, but I couldn't. Just as the werewolf was about to get me. He disappeared. "Thats weird. Just like the others from before..."
"Are you coming?" asked Drake. I looked back startled to hear his voice.
"Hey! What was with leaving me with that thing?!" I yelled.
"....Just follow me. The master is waiting for your arrival." He said.
"That doesn't answer my question." He didn't seem to notice what I had just said. He started walking towards the castle I'd seen. "Is that where your master is?"
"Yes." He replied. We walked along the dark river through the nightshade. I bent down to examine the water.
"Whats in this stuff?" I asked. Drake looked back at me confused.
"What do you mean? It's just water."
"Um no if it was it wouldn't be all dark and....I don't know."He was still looking at me oddly. I sighed and kept walking with him.

Soon we approached the castle. It was larger then I'd thought. "Wow." I said. "This place is HUGE!" Drake nodded and knocked on the door. It opened to reveal a strange creature. Drake said something to it and the creature let us in. Drake continued foward to a large staircase winding up to the left and right. "So um...where's your master?"
"Up there." He said as he pointed to the right hand side of the stairs. We went up the stairs to another large door. Drake knocked on it and it opened. "Go in. I can't go any further then this."
"Oh great..." I stepped into the room. It had an odd dark feeling to it."Welcome to my castle human." a deep voice said.
"Um thanks. What am I doing here? Well...where is 'here'?" I asked. A creature with sharp claws and nearly black fur walked out of the shadows. A dark aura surrounded him.
"You ask many questions. To answer them 'here' is your dream. Well nightmare."
"Well that explains alot...so your not real." I said
"Wrong. I'm very real."
"That makes no sense. If this is a nightmare everything here is fake."
"Not everything. There are some things that are real. For example I am real, but the creatures I created in the woods were fake. I simply created them to scare you."
"Wait what?! YOU created? And why would you do that!"
"Yes that I created." He sighed. "Let me explain who I am and you will understand. My name is Chaos and I creat nightmares. Since I know you will ask how I will tell you now that it is with this journal." He showed me a book. "I simply have to write in this and choose the person of my choice. After that I write done things that I wish to happen and they happen."
"Wow. Thats....interesting. So right now you're writing done things outside of my dream?" I asked.
"Yes."
"Oh...so now what happens?"
"You wake up." He said simply.
"Oh. Well what happens to you?"
"I continue doing this."
"Don't you get lonely?" He didn't answer. "Well...why don't you come live with me?"
"Live with you...why would you offer that?"
"Well your lonely and would fit in great with the rest of my pets." I replied. He thought about the offer.
"Very well. I will come to live with you."
"Ok cool :) " I told him where I lived and he told me he would meet me there. Slowly I watched as the world around me faded and I woke up. I jumped out of bed and ran to the door and waited for Chaos to arrive.
