Tsuneo often feels isolated from the rest of his "siblings," and for good reason. All of them are earthwalkers, as he calls them, with the possible exeption of Yan Ming (and even then he doesn't have wings). Takeshi, his Surdyh, always goes on his flights with him. Tsu is always up at the crack of dawn for the Dawn Flight. The Dawn Flight is a ritual perfomed solely by the Sho Montre tribe. Tsu is the only Sho left after a vicious Mortiking wiped them all out and left him for dead. The lines on his face, ears, paws, and tail, while standard on other Montre, are scars left on him by the Mortiking. Tsuneo found the feathers now attatched to his own tail tied to his father's tail. They remind him of his clan. One day, he hopes to be a Reborn Montre to symbolize his revival. You can read Tsuneo's story in Zanoushe's Journal, if she ever gets around to writing in it.
