I have been in Syc's service for as long as I can remember. Ever since she treated my injured paw-pad after it got split in two. My memory is a bit off, but I think it was four years ago. Last year I discovered a baby Pherret floating atop a pond, she was dead, but I hoped Syc would know what to do. When I brought her the kit, she gazed at it, began clearing its airway, and told me to fetch a bunch of her herbs and she'd see what she could do. She told me that even if she did revive the dead kit, she would most likely be, "Hollowed from her soul's absence." When I retrieved the herbs she began mashing them up and feeding them to the Pherret, forcing them into her mouth and down her throat.

Nothing happened, but Syc remained vigilant. A small wheeze escaped the Pherret's moth and she hacked up the remaining water in her lungs before staring at Syc uncertainty.
