Your first order of business as a new baker will be to acquire ingredients for your recipes!

The Millionaire Center stocks a nifty package for 1,000,000 sP that contains all of the ingredients for one of the two Level 1 recipes, Maple Leaf Cookies or Endeavor Rice Pudding, in addition to other random ingredients!

You can also restock most of the baking ingredients in NPC shops, which is more economical, although time-consuming. I've listed the current ingredients by their category and where they can be found below.

After you've acquired your ingredients, you can start baking your first recipe! After it's finished, your recipe will either be successfully made or burned. If your recipe is burned, you earn very little EXP from baking the recipe and receive a burned item corresponding to your recipe type. When you burn a recipe, you may also ruin one of Fantine's items, such as oven mitts, and have to replace it before you can bake again.

The probability of burning a recipe is higher if the recipe is your current level. As you progress in levels, you can bake easier recipes with a higher probability of success! The EXP for baking is awarded based on the time required to bake the recipe and is not affected by the level of the recipe so it's advisable to bake recipes below your level to increase the chances of a successful baking. The levels also take progressively more EXP as you level up. I've listed the current recipes, their required levels and baking times below.
