Bio: Genevieve's mother was French and her father was German, which explains her French name. She was born in Germany, but was sent away to her uncle in America at the age of 4 during her parent's separation. It turns out as individuals they couldn't raise her, what with her mother clubbing at night and her father being a dangerous alcoholic. Her uncle was a farmer who taught her responsibilities and discipline. Being the smart and responsible one already, his teachings were unnecessary.

She had lived with her uncle for a year before he became deathly ill. Confused and afraid of being alone, since she had no other family, Genevieve ran away to the city in search of an orphanage. Needless to say, it wasn't the smartest of ideas, but her journey ended when she got on the first bus. A young woman took a seat beside her and asked where she was going. By the end of the bus drive, Genevieve stayed with her new mother.

Two years later, her English is almost fluent but her German accent still remains. Her best friend is her cat, Baldwin, and if she's not following closely behind her older cousin, Hideaki, she's either out in the woods talking her her river Naiad friend, Azula, or in the house playing "The Legend of Zelda" (which she's almost mastered). Apparently, the young girl is stuck with another her age, Mitsii Llaneous, who won't leave her alone. She doesn't really like the hyper girl's company very much.

If you want, I am open for role play. But please don't be mean to me...
Friend requests are open, too, but I prefer to make friends during roleplay

Azula

My birth mother told me about God and all of his ways when days with her were not so bad. Now I wonder how many Gods there are...

When I had gotten comfortable in my new home, Hideaki and his friend, Leo, were starting towards the woods. I asked him if I could go with him. I'm sure he hadn't intended me to follow, but he said I could. We stayed in the thorns and grass until Leo easily led us into a dirt path.

It was really dark as we got further, and it didn't seem like we were going to turn around soon. I wasn't scared of the dark, but more of what could be out there. It wasn't long did I start here a sort of humming from the distance and stopped. Leo and Hideaki didn't notice me stopping and kept going. I didn't really care. The humming just made me lose sight of my surroundings, like an invisible path had just appeared right in front of me. Without thought, my feet followed.

I must have followed for about an hour, because I had view of the sky and it was getting darker. Leo and Hideaki were nowhere near me, but must have realized that I wasn't there anymore. I had come upon two trees that were made like a doorway, and behind it was a spring. The humming was louder and even more beautiful than before, so I started towards the spring. The water glowed of pure beauty, as if it were immune to all pollution and falling leaves. It looked untouchable, so I stared at where my reflection was suppose to be. It was even more curious to know that even my face was unseen. Nothing could reflect off of it.

No sooner after I realized this, the center of the pond began to bubble wildly until a large splash occurred, revealing a figure which hovered over me. It was a water woman! Not a mermaid, but she was made entirely of water with the figure of a 10 foot tall woman. Her liquid hair floated all around her head, and the only outline I could make of her face were closed eyelids and a thin line which resembled her lips curving up into a smile. She was happy to see me, and I was shocked to see her.

Her name was Azula, and she called herself a "River Naiad". I told her my name, and she just giggled and smiled with comfort. My name was heard from the distance from three different voices. Hideaki, Leo, and mother. I didn't want to go, but I knew if I didn't reveal myself they would turn to rash decisions and find me with Azula. I could never see her again. Azula bent to my level and put her hand in mine. We stayed like that for a second before our hands started glowing. Once it died, she removed her hand and revealed a sapphire necklace with a golden chain.

She told me that if I come to visit again, I can drop the necklace into the spring to summon her company. It was thrilling, but I told her that I was afraid to lose my way and never see the spring again. She just smiled and said, "Trust yourself, child."

My name was continuously called and I started towards a random path. Once approaching a thicket, I jumped over it and blinked at the sight of the house. "Is the spring really that close?"

Everyday when I have the chance, I will go through the same path from before to talk to Azula. I told mother and Hideaki about it, but I don't think they believe me. It's too fantastic to imagine.

Azula has taught me many things about her world. Things I dream every night. She's taught me about the many Gods and Goddesses that rule the heavens and Earth. She taught me of the mighty Zeus, King of Gods, and how he managed to defeat his father for the throne. She mentioned his power to smite people with strikes of lightening as a punishment. She taught me of Hades, Lord of the Underworld, and that he's not one to praise. From her lessons of the Underworld, I fear for my death and those who have passed. Out of all of the Gods and Goddesses she's taught me, my favorite is Poseidon, God of the Sea. I've never been to the beach or anywhere near the ocean, but I can imagine how beautiful it must be in real life. I've always wanted to hear waves clashing against large rocks, and witness the ferocious storms of a hurricane out at sea. Such beauty cannot really occur in this world, but it is Poseidon who happens to wield it as his own.

Sometimes, I want to take part in this world as a Nymph or a God's child, but my mother's love can contain me for life. I sometimes wish I wasn't born with legs, and instead fins, so I can roam the beautiful oceans blue for life. Maybe one day I will meet a God and be blessed with the lungs of a dolphin, so I walk on land and swim to the darkest depths of the ocean...
