About: Klavier Gavin is an honest and friendly prosecutor, as well as Apollo Justice's rival. Unlike previous prosecutors, Klavier does not seek to get a guilty verdict, but only to find the truth. He tends to avoid investigative work, preferring to let the police handle that. However, he takes his job very seriously, and his skills in the courtroom are first rate. His other occupation is the lead guitarist and vocalist in his band called The Gavinners. Along with his friend Daryan Crescend, he and his bandmates have created twelve albums and fifteen live DVDS. While he and Apollo Justice are rivals, Klavier sees it more as a friendship, often inviting Apollo and his assistant Trucy Wright to his concerts as well as helping him in investigations. While his mannerisms are that of a rock-star in and out of the courtroom, a brilliant law student lies inside of Klavier and he is not to be underestimated.

The Gavinners are a famous rock band with Klavier as the head vocalist/first guitarist. They consist of law-enforcement people, ranging from detectives to prosecutors. Many of their songs are related to law, like "13 Years Hard Time For Love", their first hit single. Worth mentioning is Klavier's detective partner and best friend, Daryan Crescend. He plays second guitar in the band. While the two but heads every now and again, they have always been loyal to each other. Until that incident...

Kristoph Gavin is Klavier's only known relative. Like his younger brother, Kristoph is an lawyer, although he is a defense attorney instead of a prosecutor. Their personalties are very much like hot and cold as well. While Klavier is laid back, preferring to make music as opposed to detective work, Kristoph is mature and collected. He has been known as "The Coolest Defense in the West", referring to how he never loses his composure in the courtroom.

However, this is only a facade. Kristoph is a calculating and manipulative man, willing to do anything to get a non-guilty verdict. Perfection is all that matters to him, and anything less is seen as failure. This has made him into a cold-hearted murderer, even going so far as to use Klavier to get his way. Unfortunately, Klavier supported his brother almost to the end, until Apollo Justice showed him how twisted and dark his brother had become. Because of this, Klavier helped Apollo bring Kristoph to justice.
