Fighting Style: Rarely fights since he tries to talk his way out of them. He also believes that all the fighting should be left to Melodious' main fighters. He doesn't avoid fighting because he is afraid or weak; He does it because there are safer ways to beat others without earning tons of scars and bruises in the coliseum in a one-on-one brawl. When he does have to fight, he will use powerful spells and illusions to defeat his opponent to compensate for his lack of speed and physical strength for close combat. However, he has a surprising amount of endurance. Due to his non-direct type of fighting and attempts at messing with his opponent's spirit and confidence when they first meet in the coliseum, he is seen as a cheater by many, though really, his sharp tongue, quick observational skills and his natural talent as an illusionist are all he uses. Though he may resort to low blows, he will not attempt to manipulate his opponents before or after the fight, when he/she becomes irrelevant to him.


Bio: Even though Zexion is one of Melodious' younger and smaller pets, he is not to be trifled with. He absolutely despises being treated differently than the older pets. Unfortunately, he tends to be quite aloof this way because of his disdain towards immaturity. Despite his aloof nature, politeness is still important to him. He will still help others, given that they haven't annoyed him. First impressions are important to him.
There have been a few instances where his distant nature was mistakenly seen as depression or a result of some inner angst. Anyone he catches having that erroneous opinion about him gets subjected to a carefully composed argument (rant).

Even though he is known for trickery, he dislikes traitors. Even if a situation could be easier solved by ditching Melodious, Zexion wouldn't do it. If anything, he would punish the pets that would try to go against their owner.
It takes some work to earn his trust, so he doesn't have many true friends that he would be willing to help or fight for. He can be quite dismissive of those that are not close to him because they are 'none of his concern'.

Strangely enough, he occasionally cooks, though usually he only makes small, strange pickled dishes that only he, and few others, would like. He sometimes leaves a small sample plate on the table when he finishes making them for those that actually do like them. Shadow is actually the one that likes those strange dishes the best, funnily enough considering that he had taunted Zexion about how disgusting they looked before he finally tried one.
He started helping out at the library recently. Though he diligently keeps most of the books correctly categorized and occasionally helps others find their desired books in the vast library, some suspect that the main reason he chose that job was for an excuse to spend most of his time away from home and at the library where he could easily read books without checking them out. The real main reason, however, is that he was sick of going to the library and see books in disarray on the shelves, messily put back by lazy pets.
