Raphel is a quiet person and enjoys being lost in his own thoughts. That's not to say that he's anti-social; he enjoys talking to people and sharing ideas, but he's more content to listen than to talk, and is more tha happy to keep his thoughts and opinions to himself.

Although he's studying vet science, he's quite unsure about what he wants to do in the future. His father and mother are both vets and sometimes he feels that he chose his area of study without thinking. Despite this, he's extremely worried about disappointing his parents and he doesn't hate what he's doing, so he sees no reason to stop doing it.

He likes being indoors or outdoors, as long as he's doing something relaxing. He particularly likes reading simple cookbooks for no reason other than the fact that the recipes are relatively linear and easy to remember. He's a coffee addict and he's particularly fond of cafe latte. He barely drinks alcohol at all, but when he does he usually goes a little overboard because he doesn't know his limits.

He likes to play chess and card games, but he dislikes video games unless they involve strategy. He likes to say that he enjoys exercise, but he does it more out of necessity than anything else.

He has both a pet cat and a pet dog. The cat's name is Benny, short for Benvolio. The dog's name is Scruff. They're both male and they're both rescue animals, so he's not sure of their exact ages. They live with him in his small apartment and occasionally the two animals have a disagreement that tears half the place apart.

He's not particularly interested in romance or relationships, despite being interested in both men and women. He and Romi met at the coffee shop where Romi works. They started out as friends and their relationship has developed into a on-again off-again romance, but both of them value their friendship more than their occasional romantic trysts.

Oh, and Romi hates his pets. And he finds it hilarious.
