ODDISH AWOKE THE NEXT MORNING...
in a very strange setting. There was grass everywhere, and trees! The little pokemon sat up and rubbed his eyes, to get a better look at his surroundings. Where was he? This was definitely not the city that he and his trainer lived in. This seemed to be a huge forest, like the one where he met his trainer a few years back. Oddish looked around for any sign of his trainer, but couldn't see him anywhere. He turned around, and noticed a note was on the ground next to where he had been sleeping.

I really didn't want it to come to this, little buddy. Please just know that this wasn't my decision! I know that you'll find someone who can train you to be the toughest oddish in the region! It's just... that trainer isn't me. I'm sorry to have failed you, Oddish. You'll always have a place in my heart.

Oddish, of course, had no idea how to read the note. Although he had a feeling what the general gist of it was. He laid back down next to the note and wondered why this could have happened to him. He felt like it was his fault, and tried to think of what he had done that could have lead to this. Eventually he dozed off, and slept until nightfall.
