It was a cold night. I didn't even know what had happened. My life, my world, had gone. Done away by one Dr. Ian Asmodeus.
I was his assistant, I was a budding alchemist - making my own potions under his supervision. I would often try the potions I had made - and as a result, I changed in colour and strength, I was no longer an average Kerubi, for I was happy, different, and unique. Until, of course, that fateful day. Dr. Ian Asmodeus had just created a new potion. It emanated coldness, and was frozen to the touch. He grabbed me, pouring the chilled liquid into my mouth and down my throat. I changed. My form, my colours, myself, changed. Changed and grew into something I was unwilling to be. Cold, frozen, frigid to the core. The Kerubi I used to be - gone. Done away by the empty potion, that now lay motionless in his hands as he surveyed me. Of course, I collapsed in the heat of the lab - My new colour could not cope with climate I had originally grew to love.
And when I woke up, there was ice. Ice and snow. Casting a wary gaze around, I pulled myself up. White - pure and untouched. My surroundings enveloped me, and I was scared. I sat there, confused, unhappy, and angry. Angry at him for ruining my life.
Footprints sounded in front of me. I blinked upwards into more white - the white of a creatures fur. It was an ethereal snow demon. Sitting in a more upright position, I surveyed to tiny beast. She looked back, analysing my condition, before deciding a glacier pet like me needed no help in the snow. I grasped the creature in my paws, holding it close to my chest. I needed something real, alive, to hold in this abandoned world.
She stayed with me that night. I had tunneled slightly into the snow, and the snow demon had curled up into my side, comforting me. Grace, I had decided to call her. The dainty figure she carried fitted well with her name. Upon awakening, I began to act. I had to somehow, get myself back the way I was. Mere potions and elixirs could not do that - I was unique. No, I would have to brew my own potion. Something that could reverse the changes on my body. And so I set to work. Each potion I made and tried, changing me in a different way, but not in the way I wanted. Grace too, changed with me, tying various potion spillages and drops. Our White fur grew coal black, neon appeared, flecked on our coats.
I carried on for a while like this, that is, until a certain Montre came along. I have no more time to tell you, of what happened next, But feel free to check over with Uni, perhaps she will be glad to continue on with the story. All you need to know, for now, is that she came to me and Grace. I felt something with her that I had never felt before. She cared for me, and I cared for her. Together, we will create a potion, to turn me back the way I was.
But,
I guess being glacier isn't
so bad. Especially If you have someone to share to Cold with.
