surf's up!

She is as graceful as a pig on a surfboard (because that is exactly what she is), but she is absolutely sublime in the surf. So smoothly does she crest the waves! A veritable surf god! You are enthralled with the butch Urubu as she tears up and down the tide, shades on her face, clad in nothing but trunks, a margarita in her clawed paw. You might think, oh no, if she wipes out, she'll lose her drink! You don't need to worry, for one simple reason; she won't.

At last, she gets her fill of the surf (after chugging her marg while surfing the biggest wave you've ever seen in real life), and, empty glass and surfboard in tow, she finally swims back toward shore, back toward You, sitting primly on the beach blanket she'd brought for you both.

"That was amazing!" you holler, making doe eyes at her as she approaches you at last, dragging her surfboard and behind her, glass held up and shining in the sun. "I've never seen ANYTHING like that, even from the pros! How'd you do it, babe?"

At this, she just laughs, loudly and unapologetically. "Practice, love. Lots 'n lots of practice. What else? I had to work for it!"

You nod, reaching out your paw to take her hoof; after setting the glass down and planting her surfboard in the sand, she takes the foreoffered paw and plops down next to you on the beach blanket.

The two of you sit in silence (at least among yourselves; the beach is alive with the sounds of seagulls and children, waves and wind) for a while, simply watching the water, and the others who venture into it. It's a little later in the day, and the sun is slowly beginning its descent, getting ready to say goodnight. And, as one may expect from a beachbound sunset, it's stunning, taking your breath away... and if that hadn't, your lover suddenly leaning in for a kiss certainly would! A sunset kiss... how sweet it is to be loved, you think, kissing her back.

The two of you leave the beach together shortly after, with the intention to go back to her place. But you'll both be back. The sea calls to the two of you like a lover, and who are either of you to deny its call?
