You walk into the candy store and start choosing all of your favorites. You know you should try something new and you keep telling yourself you will, but the same candies keep calling you back to them. You dump your armful of sweets on the counter and blink when you realize the usual person behind the counter isn't there. It's a harvester. At least, you think it is. It looks much less menacing than any other harvester you've seen around, in fact it's down right adorable. Its minion jumps on the keyboard as it says the prices of each item. It even seems to be nervously clutching a large lollipop in place of the scythe you usually see harvesters with. "I haven't seen you in here before. Are you new?" You ask it, trying to start up a conversation to make waiting a little less awkward. It stops and looks at you. Like all harvesters all you can see are its eyes, but these are a soft aqua color that put you at ease. You see a little pink glow and you try to hold back a laugh as you realize its blushing. "I usually work in the back making the candy." It says softly. You see it tighten its grip on its lollipop nervously. "But I know you're a regular. Around the same time every week I have to make all of this again." It smiles at you before turning its attention back to your purchase. You think it smiled, at least. Its eyes squinted a little like people's do when they smile. "Well, what's your name?" You ask in an attempt to keep it talking. Its voice is soft and sweet. You find yourself wanting to hear more. "My owner calls me Estevo." He answers without looking up from his work. "That's a nice name." You say with a smile before introducing yourself. He nods absentmindedly. He's too focused on the transaction now to answer you. Once he finishes he puts all of your things into a nice paper bag with a bow and hands it to you. His minion attempts to jump into the bag, but Estevo catches him quickly as if this happens all the time. "Akuchi, we've talked about this." He mumbles to the small creature. You laugh softly and turn to leave. "I guess I'll see you later Estevo!" The bell chimes as you open the door to leave and Estevo waves goodbye to you. His minion copies the motion after seeing the both of you do it. Estevo sighs once the customer is gone. "I don't think I'll ever get used to that, Akuchi." The minion tilts its head and sits on Estevo's shoulder. "You're right... I should get back to work." He murmurs and disappears into the back of the shop again.
