Previously a professor at UC Berkeley, she was invited to go to Rapture. Along with many others, most notably 'famous' people. Her ideas and theories attracted praise and controversy. Soon after leaving for Rapture, a newspaper brought up the attention of her disappearance, saying that despite an extensive search, she was still not found.

Momentarily, she assisted the US government on various defoliation projects. However, when she was called to Rapture, she began study on a certain concoction. One that would bring plants back from the dead.

Now I'm a woman of science, but I'm also a woman who's not afraid of turning a buck or two
