notes about Carys while I actually work on her:
A mage student at Pridd University; was in one of Aeron’s history classes and gave him a lot of grief. Now is Aeron’s girlfriend and still gives him a lot of grief.

Gifts Aeron Arcane Sorcery, supposedly the book Psione used to ascend to Theede. When the book ends up stolen and turned over to Allandis, Carys and Aeron learn a spell to seal Allandis, though it requires them to sacrifice their love for each other in order to do so. In order to keep the spell intact, Carys leaves Cydry and never returns.

Her predominant magic is water, but she is adequate at spell work (which is good since she has to cast a pretty powerful spell to help seal Allandis).
