Raises and Razes: twins at birth, and yet they grew so very different; each living divergent, opposite lives. The only aspect that binds them both is their blue eyes, however, even those eyes are in stark contrast--each having their own intentions: be it a quest for wisdom or for power; justice or injustice; raising or razing; restoration or destruction. Good and evil. Everything must hang in a balance; if one is good, the other, therefore, must be evil.

Razes was identical to Raises at birth. It wasn't long before their unique personalities shone, but they were still equal in every way. Intelligent and determined, both did exceedingly well in learning, and it was by no surprise they had a talent in the Battle Coliseum. Swiftly and deftly, they overcame many of the challengers. However, there was one battle they could not win--the battle that pitted both against each other. Lustful for prevalence, Razes grew scorn of their equality and tried desperately to gain more power. In his pursuit, he came upon Merana's lair, came upon evil. No doubt Razes would pull off anything to set himself apart from his brother, personality was not enough. Ironically, it was his personality that led him to this off-beaten path, to this state of despair and desolation. He agreed to Merana's influence in exchange for power, and he got what he had wanted: strength incomparable to his brother. But was it worth it?
