Pharo practices natural, herbalistic magic. Her older sister Galazore opts to use darker forms and it is because of this difference that they no longer speak much anymore. It seems to Pharo that her sister was unusually affected when their mother left them and fell onto the wrong path. Pharo had known that her mother would not stay with them for long, it wasn't normal for them to. She had tried to pull Galazore back onto a more natural path but her attempts were in vain and with regret she had to turn her back on her family in order to distance herself from what she saw as unnatural.
