:skull: Morphed with a Miracle Potion II on 07/10/16 after many, many zaps. :skull:
John was born on September 30, 1314. When he was only 21, he went to war and died by the blade of an enemy sword. His flesh decomposed, but his bones never turned into dust. His grave was broken and his skull was taken, centuries after his death. But someday, nobody knows how or why, he woke up. He could think again, see where he was, feel the wind and the hard stone where his skull was left aside. He couldn't live, but he wasn't dead too. He didn't know how much time has elapsed since he passed away, but he missed some years for sure. Now he realized that he couldn't remember anything about when he was alive, he didn't even know his name.
But anyway he was just a skull above a stone. His only capability was to talk, maybe scream, but there was no one there. He was alone in that dark woods. Days passed when he didn't see anybody, other days some random travelers passed by, but he quickly realized they would just scream and run when he started talking, so he stopped calling them and just waited. He couldn't do anything. His existance was completely mediocre.
1,696 days passed by, he counted them. And then his 'life' changed. He noticed always more people were walking around. Strange, mutated people, that called themselves "the undead". Some had rotten flesh, some had butterflies around them, some had hearts all over their skin. He managed to talk with some of these people, but they never stayed too much. Anyway, they looked like nice people, but as they were strangely-looking, the living people were scared and they weren't having a good time. But on that day, the 1,696th day of his new existance, he met her.
- Boo! - he said with a grave, scary voice.
She screamed when she realized the sound came from a skull, and ran away. But she seemed curious, and slowly came back to see what or who scared her.
- Hello. - he said, intending to give her a smile, but of course he had no muscles on his face to do that.
- What the... Who are you? - she asked, with a mix of fear and curiosity.
- Well, I don't remember my name. But I'm just bones, I think, so call me Bones.
- That's a really weird name to call someone.
She called him 'someone', not 'something'. And he could see, behind all that hearts that mutated her skin and eyes, there was a really sweet person.
- So call me Bonn Bones. What do you think?
- ...I think it's awesome, it sounds like Bonbon, and I love bonbons. My name is Bobbie Di. - she replied with a smile.
Bobbie sat down and talked with Bonn for hours. An epidemy was going on, with diseases spreading around, humans fearing the undead and the undead fearing the humans. But more than giving him informations, she heard what he had to say. All the loneliness he felt, all the doubts about what happened to him and why he was there, a skull talking with a lovebug.
- You know, we should find the rest of your bones. Your last name can't be Bones if you have only a few of them.
- We? You mean, would you help me to find them? I would never be able to walk by myself, you can guess.
- Of course! I'll take you. Now that my life, or afterlife, has changed so much... I need a purpose, something to do.
And they finally left that place that Bonn was so sick about, and started a long journey to find his body, or what was left of it. Bonn didn't know how, but he could feel the direction they needed to follow to find the bones. One more thing to the set of unexplainable facts occured with him. But he didn't care about it, because now he had company. He was in her sweet and hot arms, and there was hope and happiness between them. Also, her boobs. Let's not forget the boobs. They were two confortable pillows just for him, and she didn't seem to mind he was in between them. They didn't need to eat or rest, so the travel didn't take more than two weeks.
They finally arrived on a very old, abandoned graveyard. The gates creaked as they entered, an owl flew, and Bobbie walked with joy to find Bonn's tombstone. They searched for half an hour, and when they reached what seemed to be the oldest tombstone around, Bonn said, excited:
- This is the one.
The date engraved on the stone was hard to read, but they concluded that his original name was John and he was 696 years old.
- John... - said Bobbie, hesitating - Do you have any idea of what will happen when you're put together with your body?
- No, not really. Maybe I'll just... Well, die again. But somehow I know this needs to be done. Also, keep calling me Bonn. I think you'll agree that I'm no longer the same John that was buried here.
She seemed sad, but began to dig silently. After some time, the bones began to appear, and a full skeleton, without the skull, showed up in a hole.
- Put me in the neck, please. - he said.
Very slowly, thinking this could end the friendship (and something else) that grew up between them, Bobbie put the skull on the top of the body, and moved a little away.
- Thank you... - said Bonn, before all the bones started to glow.
A strong, white light took his body, and he started to levitate. Some kind of magic was happening, and Bobbie was hypnotized by it. The bones moved and some snaps were heard when they impacted. Now it seemed like a true body, not a pile of bones. Slowly, they stopped glowing while Bonn came to the front of Bobbie. When everything ended, she could feel he was alive or something like that, she could feel him breathing vainly but strongly, she could feel his look, even if he had no eyes, and she could see a smile, without lips or mouth, but his teeth had a radiant shine.
And with just this feeling and nothing else, she started to run to the bones that formed his arms, and she saw he started to run for her too. With an invisible but insuperable happiness, they hugged and kissed each other.
In the next months, Bonn Bones returned to the habits he had before his death. He loves to battle and can't stay away from his weapons and a good fight. Bobbie Di became his wife, and started to cook. She's always saying he's too thin, eventhough he's a skeleton, and she makes him drink lots of milk, that pours directly to the ground and don't make any difference on the amount of calcium that his indestructible magic bones contain. They decided to move to the Public Cemetery where Bonn's bones were found and they've been living happily there for six years now. He became a leader for the local Undead Liberation Movement, and has been helping all kinds of zombies and the alike in all their needs, while trying to make people accept them. But when he isn't helping others, fighting with monsters or friends, adveturing or just loving Bobbie and their little Billie Di Bones at home, he goes to a isolated dark corner to stay some time alone sitting in a rock, remembering his loneliest and darkest days.
