"I can here them." His faded voice creaked from the silence. "I can hear them all." A whimper cracked in his throat as tears forced their way into his emotionless eyes. "The voices. Their there." He mumbled to himself. "Now you're not alone!" A dry heave of a laugh shook from the bowels of his stomach as his eyes sparked with paranoia. "But then again. You were never alone - they were there. All of them." Cowering, he rocked himself - gripping his head. "They have always been there... Telling you what to do - how and when..." He giggled curling into himself. "But now I'm here! I can try to protect you!" "Try?" "Oh yes, try! What's in it for me?" Another laugh shook from him. "Y-You! You're just like them!" He cried out, tears leaking down his pale cheeks. "You're all the same!" "We are?" Another 'voice' chimed in. "Oh god!" He screamed throwing himself frantically against the padded cell door. "Help, dear god, help! Their going to kill me!" He shrieked clawing at the door - with his bloody fingers. He had done this so many times that he no longer had finger nails it seemed.
"Their going to get me..." He sunk to the floor with a shuddering sob, huddling his knees close. "You're wrong." "I'm... what?" He questioned the quiet whispers in his mind.
"You're wrong." "H-How am I wrong?" He stuttered amidst another shaking sob. An evil cackled thundered through his head - causing yet another scream to leave his aching throat.
"Yes! Scream, scream!" A voice teased as another laughed, and another simply observed in silence. "You're wrong because..." The voice which caused the scream giggled. "We've already got you!"
