Haifa lost her voice when she was quite young, and she refuses to explain how. However, it is known that ever since the incident.. she has become completely fixated with books. She usually can be found off in a secluded area of the nearest library clutching some form of english literature (her favorite). Although due to this obsession.. Haifa has become secluded and independant. She was raised in a wealthy noble home and was instructed on having proper graces and manners around others, but she now choses to ignore these and gives the cold shoulder to anyone who disturbs her.

Haifa thought the possibility of loving someone was impossible for someone with a disadvantage such as herself. She had simply decided that no one would have the patience to deal with a mute for an extended period of time.. but Boslie surpassed these expectations. He did not shy away from her handicap or pity her even, he simply ignored the fact that she couldn’t speak. He acted like she was any other normal person, that nothing was wrong with her. He was also always patient when waiting for her reply, he was a carefree and easy going man. When she first met him she had assumed he was a starving French artist who played with women and lived life in a sloppy manner, but she found she had more in common with him than anyone she had ever met before.

They both enjoyed quality, culture and creative expression were a common thing both of them sought after. Haifa only realized her true feelings for Boslie after a incident which left her broken and weak. She was abducted, by who she doesn’t know, she only remembers being strapped to a table then almost burned alive. Boslie saved her from the fire and then after waking and finding herself feeling vulnerable and emotionally unstable, he managed to comfort her and complimented her even though she looked like hell. He was a true gentleman that night, and when he confessed to her while deeply broken himself... she found that responding on paper wouldn’t convey her feelings well enough and found herself throwing herself in his arms in an attempt to show how she felt. Of course since she’s a lady, it didn’t go any further then holding each other, much to Boslie’s disappointment.


Hailey grew up in a wealthy noble environment. She was the first child of Peter S. Antony and Marrie P. Antony. Who were the founders of Antony Jewellery Corporation of Subeta. She was intended to be a boy, but was born as a girl, much to her parents disappointment. Still, they loved her and raised her with care. When she turned 6 her mother gave birth to their second child, John S. Antony. Hailey grew very close to John and they were almost inseperatable as they grew up. In time she was more than willing to hand of the position of the family heir to him.

Her nickname, even came from him. As when he first tried to say her name he could only say "Haifa.." and it stuck ever since then. John loved reading, so much so that he demanded she read to him constantly. He is her main inspiration for loving books so much. When she was 12 however, a terrible accident occurred. John liked to read deep into the night, but he usually woke someone up from the light from the library and was forced to go to bed. So, to avoid this he decided to do so in secret. He snuck a candle and some matches into his room when no one was watching. Then while reading he fell asleep. The candle, which he had leaned against his pillow, slid from its resting spot and fell against the book and himself.

The house burned down. Peter, Hailey's father, managed to save her, though she had been trapped by a burning log which injured her severly. They were the only survivors. Marrie, who had gone to save John, perished. And John himself perished. The night haunts both Peter and Hailey to this day. Hailey's injuries damaged both her throat and back. It hurt for her to speak, so she eventually just stopped. Her father, continued on with his work, and became obsessed. He now works constantly, and it is rare that Hailey sees him. Though she too, became withdrawn. She now hates to return home, or anything that might remind her of her childhood.
