Hingle was once a normal doctor that works in aspects of chirurgery and psychodiagnosis,
it was not until later, when he cured some special groups of patients that he should not be accepted.

A man knocked his door, and he asked for a woman - they saw her came out from Hingle's clinic.
As a doctor Hingle has his integrity, but more importantly was his own will, he refused to answer the man,
he has to protect the privacy of his patients. The man was not irritated,
he dashed in from the door since Hingle was too frail to stop him - he was caught at once.

When he woke up he realized he was in danger, he could smell the scent of Chloroform in the air.
He knows that it required unnatural torturing to extract a confession - and that was what would happen to him.
During the inquisition, the torturers stretch Hingle on a rack - he was then fainted.

He was in a coffin when he woke up the second time, he conjectured that they thought that he was dead while he was in a coma.
He sit up straight - tried, but failed. He started to check the functions of his body - some parts of his ribs were gone,
his right leg had been cut off while left leg was broken, something was inserted in his brain where he was not sure what that is,
and lastly, sterilization was performed - he survived as a disable.

Becoming more mature and cunning, Hingle still make a living by his little clinic. Differently,
the legend where he survived from a series of horrible torment was spread and made him a place in the sun.
Hingle is now a really skilled doctor that works in aspects of chirurgery and psychodiagnosis,
that accept all kinds of patients. It is easy to regconize him with his crutches.

He was famous for his unique psychiatry, and also his interest in operating facial surgery.
