Qalik is a Celinox found in the green ranges around the Overhang Mountain, a small, curved mountain somewhere near Veta, south of Riverside. She was actually just a kitten when Martouf found her, but was very angry and reserved. In fact, the smaller towns near the Overhang Mountain were wary of this little feline -- even young, she was quite big and fierce. When Martouf went hiking one day, bored, he found her. She growled at him, but he just sat close to her, wondering why a little Celinox would be so angry. He'd only read about them, and understood them to be stoic and cool, but sweet and quirky. After a while of visiting her every day, Martouf gave her the name Qalik, which, in his language, means "angry". Now she follows Martouf everywhere while he looks for his place in subeta.

The Atebus Revolution Masquerade Ball went down, but Martouf was still relatively poor at the time, and could only afford a ticket for the ship. With no invitation, he simply explored the moon and the bubbled city Atebus. While there, Qalik collected bottled things and Martouf tried to understand what the hustle and bustle was about at the Masquerade. Qalik would love to show off her bottle collection, but Martouf thinks material things are basically worthless and earthly, and refuses to buy her any Magical Keepsake Boxes.

Qalik found a minion! Among the Galaxan Highwastes were thousands of bubbles, all with one minion inside. A particularly bright and orange one caught Qalik's eye, and she proceeded to feed it. Martouf and she decided to take it with them, as there was no known way to release the minion from the bubble. When they came back to subeta however, the bubble dissolved on its own from the pressure! Martouf called her Jolinar, after one of his old loves.

Martouf gave in to Qalik's begging and bought her some Magical Keepsake Boxes. Check out that amazing Bottled collection!

Vesnali has happened in subeta. Martouf is collecting flowers while Qalik collects Zooky merchandise. She really seems to love that dead kitty!

During Fireside, Qalik can be caught doing what Merick usually does: nicking! She's been swiftly snatching little red Rreign dolls from children. Martouf needs to somehow keep her away from Merick's influence. She really hates the bonfire, however. Martouf never realised she really likes the cold more than anything.
