Namesake
Shisha (n): A synonym for hookah, water pipe, or narghile. The word comes from the Persian word for glass. The term “shisha†is primarily used for water pipes in Egypt. Hookah is used primarily for the smoking of flavored tobacco, which some misinformed westerners will call "shisha" instead of the hookah itself.
About Her
"Shishaaaa!" called a frantic voice from the bathroom. Without a moment's hesitation Shisha leapt from bed, dressed in a pair of boxers and an oversized tanktop, tearing off to the bathroom. "What?! What is it?" she called, swinging the door open. She blinked twice and chuckled as she noticed her frail-looking roommate covering herself with a towel, and standing on the toilet, pointing at the tiniest of spiders creeping corner to corner in the opposite side of the room.
"Oh come on Sal, I'm sure he's more afraid of you than you are of him." "Oh don't give me that!" she yelped, holding her chest in the most overly dramatic way possible, "If it's so afraid of me, why would it try to land in my hairrr?" Shisha laughed, cupped the arachnid into her palms, and waved it out of the window. "Well, I'm awake now," she said, closing the window, "Do you feel like pancakes?"
This is Shisha. She's a lovable, soft, furry and feather covered griffin with more male than female tendencies. I guess to put it lightly, although she looks like a girl, and sometimes dresses like one, she's a pretty down to earth tomboy with a soft streak. She's a little pudgy and curvaceous, with a lot of friendly charm. And she loves nothing more than meeting new people.
Shisha has a few interesting hobbies, including the love of making her own clothing from scraps, and collecting any winter-themed anything. Her true passion, however, is in baking. Hence her making a life by working in one of the most well known bakeries in the city. She lives in a medium sized 3 bedroom house about a five minute drive from downtown, with her two roommates Dron and Sal. She looks forward to movie nights with them every saturday and wouldn't have her dysfunctional little family changed in any way.
