You come upon a thicket, a thick brush of wild woods that twists and tangles that shadowed the distance beyond.

Following a very lightly made path of slightly bent grasses and brush, you continue your search for this strange creature called the Flower Maiden. Deeper and deeper you trek into the lush deciduous forest, till the trees have grown so close that their leaves begin to block out the blue sky above you. You noticed before the ground was covered in green grass and wild ferns, but now the ferns have grown much thicker, their green fronds mixing with the mismatched hues of various undergrowth and brush. This menagerie sprawls out among the trees as a splotched carpet of mixed greens and molted browns from the dead leaves that have fallen from the trees that block out the sun.

Among all the green and brown earth tones, you see tiny specks and splashes of color, most standing proud in the random columned rays of sunlight dappled through the leaves. These flashes of color reveal themselves as beautiful flowers; some small, some large, some bright, and some humbly dull. They break up the monotony of the green, brown, and gray landscape of the forest trees.

Still further, you begin to hear the sound of babbling water, quickly running over smooth muddle colored river rocks on an ever constant destination to some unknown place. Your path goes on, growing closer and closer to this calming sound, the sweet melody of the trickling water mixing with the soft songs of birds hiding just out of sight, and the rolling harmony of insects in it's backdrop. Now within sight you see the cold forest stream rolling along, bubbling happily on with a strange circle of trees just beyond it, opened just wide enough to greet the snaking stream.

Within the circle of trees, you see a plethora of flowers, standing tall and stretching to the light that streams down upon the tiny glade. Amongst all these flowers, it seems there is a small knoll in the glade's very center, that flowers and ferns have grown over in their attempt to reach for sunlight.

But, just then! The small knoll shifts, and the flowers shake as a grassy green form takes shape before your eyes. Long tangled vines and plants move like a body, the flowers shivering as the small body stretches out, yawning sleepily as it raises it's antlered head. Sleepy violet eyes stare out at you and blink, a sleepy smile growing across the creature's mouth as it watches you.

Hello... You suddenly hear a girlish voice within your head, Have you come to see my forest? I'm Lotus, the Earth dragon.... You look at her strangely, and she smirks, Yes I know I don't much look like a dragon, but this form is better for living in my thick forest. If I was my true form, I'd be too big and probably hurt my forest more than help it. It makes sense, however odd her choice of smaller form. Well, have fun in my forests, just remember, don't do anything in my home what you wouldn't want me to do in YOUR home. The dragon yawns again, shaking her sheep-like self back against the ground, long vines and flowered tendrils flowing around her, settling down once again and looking like a simple knoll once more.
