Dunroamin is not the name of the Jollin, but rather the permanently-docked airship that this Jollin calls home. It's a friendly little thing and is the constant companion of the friendly old mapmaker that lives there, though this wasn't always the case.

Why, when he was a young man...

(Story about roaming Subeta with his Jollin, "Pup", and how much they learned about the world on their journeys. Stories about the outbreaks, about new strange sights and smells and sounds, etc. These stories can only be drawn forth from him on warm summer nights when the sun sets bloody red and the smells of spices come wafting from the cargo holds of visiting airships.)

"pup" named themselves a long time ago, only shares the name with the mapmaker, whose name is also unknown. "pup" speaks very rarely to anyone else. has a raspy voice and an old scar on their throat.
