He met Beckah when he was at school. He was running to his music class, and she was running to her art class. They ran into each other, both ending up on the floor. Her paints spilled over the ground and his drumsticks broke. They had seen each other before, and even had some classess together, but she was always immersed in her own little word, and he was busy hiding behind his sunglasses doing his cool dude act, twirling his drumsticks and showing off the bandana tied around his tail. He had never really noticed her before, but now, as she gathered up her paints, and he went to pick up his fallen sunglasses, their eyes caught each other. He saw something he had never seen before. She wasn't just a self-absorbed artist, she seemed sweet. They both apologised for the broken items, both forgave each other. He asked if she was ok - she was. She asked if he was ok - that sent them both into a giggling fit when she realized how much bigger than her he was.

They then went off to their seperate classes - but Jamey found his mind wandering. He wanted to talk to Beckah again. As soon as class was over, he went out searching for Beckah's locker. After a lot of searching, and questioning, he found it. He placed a note inside and rushed back to his next class.

When Jamey arrived home, he sat down and waited anxiously. The phone rang and he jumped up to answer it. It was Beckah - she got the note he left in her locker and actually called him! They talked for hours and arranged to meet in the park the next day.

Jamey nervously made his way to the park, he looked around and saw Beckah. As soon as she caught his eye she ran up to him and tackled him with a big hug. They talked for hours once again. He took her back to his place and showed her his drum-kit - played a few beats for her. She took him to her place and showed him her art.

Over the next few weeks the two spent more and more time together. Soon they were recognized as a couple at the school. They spent every moment they could together. They confided in each other, told each other things that noone else knew about them. He told her that he only puts on the cool guy act because he was worried about what others thought of him. She told him that he is perfect as he is.

After school they moved in together. He converted a bedroom into an art studio for Beckah, and she helped him convert the garage into a music studio for him. He bought her a spectrulizard, that she called Gekko, who always likes to 'help' Beckah paint, and she painted him a picture of his dream drum-kit to hang in his studio.

Like any couple they have their arguments. But they always remember the day they first really noticed each other, and all the good times they have. They know they couldn't live without each other.
