Loretta Sweet is a nineteen year old girl with a love for anything strawberry. She is now the owner of the family-run bakery Strawberries and Cream, where anyone is free to indulge into the array of strawberry treats. Despite her namesake and gentle appearance, Loretta is fiery and hot-tempered, not to be irritated. If you do ever happen to pay a visit to her bakery, it is suggested you purchase to-go.

"I've told you, already," Loretta's attempted serenity was quickly thinning out. "I only bake with strawberries."

"Strawberries?!" the voice on the other side of the line was deep with rage. "My fiancee is allergic! C'mon, you're the only bakery in town, can't you make a nice wedding cake without strawberries? Vanilla, chocolate, hell, cheesecake, even!"

"Ma'am," she inhaled deeply before continuing. "What do you think this is, Burger King? Here at Strawerries and Cream, you can't just order strawberry shortcake without the strawberries, there is no 'have it your way'. This is a specialty bakery. If you want a dessert without strawberries, I suggest you do not call up the one bakery that is called Strawberries and Cream. The name usually clues most people in--"

"Well, then." the woman seemed appalled, as if she'd forgotten that she'd been the one insisting on arguing for the past half hour. "I know of one bakery that won't be catering for my wedding."

Before Loretta could think up a quip, the line went dead.

"Good riddance," the girl murmured to herself, slipping the phone back into its receiver-bed. Wiping her brow with a thin hand, she stared at the unmade tart laying on the table.
