Karael - the angel who has the power to thwart demons.

Character brainfarts

- Karael, angel. Former soldier, currently a dignitary judge serving as an ambassador
- Insecure in his loyalties. Always thought he deserved something better than a simple soldier's life, but found no ways to rise through the ranks.
- Witnessed the murder of one of the judges by the forces behind the uprising. Luckily for him, he was considered pliable enough to take the man's place and have access to all of the luxuries he wanted, in exchange for silence.
- Tends to come across as aloof, proud, haughty and in control. Is actually nervous and quite cowardly. He will, however, defend his current position by any means necessary. Including murder.
- Terrified of being discovered and tends to be overly secretive and scheming. Quite intelligent, very good at bargaining his way out of trouble.
- Very fond of luxuries, especially when it comes to food. Sweets and alcohol in particular. Does not drink to the point of inebriation, but does enjoy sampling the finer things in life.
- Skilled with blades and to a limited degree with magic. Could easily hone his skills with magic to an impressive degree if he put more effort into studying than he does into sampling sweets.

Character appearance:
- Shorter than an average human, somewhat on the chubby side but still very fit.
- Slightly paler skin, dark eyes. Dark brown hair barely reaching to his shoulders. Often either oiled and slicked back, or pulled back into a small ponytail held together with a fancy decorative tie.
- Appears to be in his early 40s, is among the more "modern" generations of angels and is most likely between 2000 and 3000 years old
- One pair of wings, white with yellow, almost golden feather tips. Is missing his right hand after an event that tested his loyalty to the uprising, wears an ornate-looking white gold coloured prosthetic as a result.
- Is forced to wear a mask to protect his identity during his judicial work, much to his irritation.
- Greatly favors luxury in terms of clothing too, showing off his status (and his medals and accomplishments) at any given opportunity. Silks, embroidered vests, ornate pocketwatches, gilded vest buttons, sashes, cloaks, coats with tails and heeled boots. Especially heeled boots.
