The Dursley family had no tolerance for anything abnormal, and would immediately turn up their noses and avoid anything they deemed unnatural. Dudley Dursley was a completely normal 11 year old boy. He lived in a completely normal house at Number 4 Privet Drive in Little Whinging, Surrey. He had two completely normal parents, Vernon and Petunia Dursley. He had normal friends and normal hobbies. He attended a normal school while studying normal courses. He enjoyed football, cricket, and rugby - although he wasn't much good at them. Like any 11 year old, he enjoyed sweets and crisps and would eat them to his hearts desire.
Dudley slightly resembled a small elephant, he loved eating anything he could get his chubby little hands on. Biscuits, crisps, sweets, and chips. Petunia was so proud of her growing little boy; he could often eat a fourth helping at dinner. Dudley often ate more at dinner than his Father and Mother combined, which Vernon thought was absolutely lovely, "My growing boy! Look at him! Strapping!" Petunia would always tuck him into bed, "Goodnight my Dinky Duddydums, Mummy loves you so much!" followed by hundreds of kisses to the forehead. "Mummy, I'm hungry! I want a biscuit, please? It will help me sleep and be rested for school tomorrow, Mummy!" "Oh! Of course, Diddydums, anything for my wittle boy!" And just like that, Dudley would be happily tucked into bed as well as his tin of biscuits. He lived perfectly normal days with perfectly normal parents... with a very strange secret in the cupboard under the stairs.
