That stare terrifies her more than anything. No matter where he moved the deep shadows of the near lightless room clung to his face, "You would enthrall, but as a butterfly, it would only be a matter of time before someone will want you all to themselves. They would seek to crush your wings in order to keep you for themselves! So you see? I [i]must[/i] keep you here! It is to keep you safe from those that would seek to crush you!"[/b]

[b]"Silence!" He roars, making the imprisoned one cringe back against the far bars. He sees this and the rage falls from his face faster than it had come. "I am nothing like them..." He reaches out as if to touch her and she becomes frightened and presses her back into the bars away from him until it is obvious that it was hurting her. He let his arm fall back to his side and stood up, turning away from her. "I will keep you here, in protection, until the beauty fades from your body and it becomes safe for everyone to behold you."[/b]

She falls to the floor as he leaves her in the dark once more and cries herself to sleep.
