The little Endeavling stretched and climbed up to his shoulder.”Maybe tomorrow Lapis.”He said scratching her head,then shutting off the light as he headed out the door closing it behind him.

Lapis,started out life as Endeavling #4657.She'd watch as all the pets and their owners milled by.She watched the minions get picked and go to new homes,and she sighed and sat down,next to her littermate.'When will it be my turn?'She thought,just then a little Endeavor came over and was looking at the two.”Mom I want a Endeavling!”Lapis reached up to be held,hoping today would be the day when he pushed her aside for her sibling.”Ewww!That one has no wings!I don't want that!” Hurt Lapis jumped up and grabbed the little ones hands.”Yuck!”The Endeavor yelled as he threw Lapis to the floor close to where Hiro was looking at the bug minions.The shop owner came up to her.”Come on 4657.You have to go back to your pen.”Just then Lapis sprang and clamped down on Hiro's leg as hard as she could. “I'll grab her so she won't be much trouble” The shop keeper laughed as he treid to take Lapis off the Darkonite's leg.Hiro sighed as she clamped down harder as the shop keeper treid to pull. “I guess she chose me.”Hiro finally said.”How much?” The shop keeper gave him a surprised look but gave the price and Hiro paid him. “Ok.I guess you can be Lapis.”Hiro said taking her off his leg and putting her on his shoulder.
