Ankaa Sheratan strode down the avenue, golden eyes scanning the streets as if she expected to burn her gaze into stone and flesh. The Sheratan family worked the streets as part of the city guard for generations – the Tigrean intended to meet expectations. Her long blue tail twitched with agitation; her fingers drummed a rapid tattoo into the handle of the gleaming blade at her side. Her grandfather's, and his grandfather's all the way back to the earliest days of the City and the Guard , though these days it was mostly for show.

She caught sight of her reflection and flicked an imaginary fleck of dust off of her cropped, immaculate blue coat. She was about middling height and build for her species. Average. Except for the gleaming streaks of gold that marked her.
