There was something cold and blank in Shadie's smile. "It's time" Shadie had said. Sabil could hear her sister's voice echo in her head. She rolled over and covered her ears. She shivered and scrunched into a ball. "C'mon Sabil.. hit him.. bash his knee in". Sabil was screaming in her head. Sabil called her dog over "Come here Mercy..." The dog jumped onto the bed. She hugged him and burried her face in his fur, crying. After a few minutes when she had cried herself dry, Sabil looked at the fur that had been matted by her tears. Mercy leaned up and licked Sabil's cheeks. She remembered the time they asked their father for pets; when he said no, they asked their mother and she approved. Sabil remembered him not being pleased at all. She wiped away the tears that were left. She didn't want to be this way, but murdering was in her genes; at least, on her mother's side. She must never let her sister see that she has emotions, and how she cries. Sabil whispered "I'm her red star, she wont let go..."
