The sweet smell could've caught your nose from a mile away. It's unmistakable - the scent of fresh cakes, cookies, pies, and scones, all wafting from a cute little corner bakery. It's a quaint little shack, all decorated in shades of pastel pink. Before you are even made aware of another presence, a low, gruff voice beckons you over.

'Well, that voice was a little unexpected,' you think to yourself. But there he stands, a warm smile on his face - a Dilemma, so pink and pastel himself that you quickly understand why you didn't notice him before. He stands perfectly still, leaning upon the counter, his eyes never leaving you as you peruse the case.

Each pastry looks just as delightful as it smells! Intricately frosted cupcakes, cookies in all shapes, scones with eyeballs--wait. What? Your gaze darts back to the scones in question, but of course, you were mistaken. While they do have strange, round decorations, they couldn't possibly be eyeballs. Of course not. And that donut surely doesn't have a finger sticking out of it... right?

Swallowing nervously, you turn back to the baker, whose eyes bore straight into your soul, his smile now wider, and a bit on the eerie side. You clear your throat, pointing toward a cookie in the case. "I'll have that one, p-please," you manage to stutter, wondering what suddenly has you so jittery.

Without a word, the Dilemma reaches into the case, carefully selecting the cookie you pointed to. You watch him as he places it in a small paper baggie, hands it to you, and mutters in a monotone, "It's on the house." As you glance back to the case, you notice the cookie that was once underneath yours reads a chilling message:

'R.I.P.'
