My story...

Equinoxy was once an evil man. That is, until fate played him a hand he had never expected.

On a dark night as he was walking home from the bar, a faint light caught his eyes. As he looked over at the glimmer it soon became blinding. A beautiful maiden emerged, dressed all in Amethyst. She appeared weak, and as he watched she stumbled closer and fell forward. Instinctively Equinoxy caught her in his arms and as he beheld her splendor, felt his heart twist in a strange manner in his breast. With a gasp she pulled down his ear and whispered several words into it before vanishing in the light once more, leaving only her belongings in his grasp.

Ever since, he seeks the Amethyst Princess, though, everywhere he goes, the world laughs at his fantasies and calls her a drunken vision. Even when he finds proof of her existence, a strange castle far beyond the reaches of unexplored lands, more objects that carry the same shade and feel of the maiden, as well as proof that what she'd told him was indeed happening, the world still would not believe him. With a heavy heart and knowledge the rest of the world had forgotten, and did not seem to want to remember, he continues on and will never rest until he finds her.

To this very day he clutches her effects close to his heart as he carries on, never forgetting the secrets she had whispered in his ears and never faltering in his quest to find her.
