I wasn't born, per se, I was created. For the first years of my life I was what you might call a "lab rat". I existed only to further the research and ambitions of others. According to my creators, I was to be the key that unlocked the secrets of nature; the first step toward a new species.

I wanted none of it.

As I grew stronger, I devised a plan to break free of my prison. Once I matured and my body reached its peak, I put my plan into action and finally broke through my chains. Through my own actions, I was able to escape from my miserable fate and flee to the only place that could offer me refuge from my tormentors was the ocean.

My current home is within the confines of a sunken ship - a vessel doomed to never again see the sun or feel the wind in its sails. Together with my friend, Jelly, I spend my days enjoying the warm Hawaiian waters and swimming within the colorful reefs and fish that reside in these waters.

The other creatures were frightened of me upon my arrival, but have learned that I mean them no harm. Quite the opposite, actually. Instead of terrorizing my scaled neighbors, I've decided to use my strength and cunning to help them survive the sometimes turgid conditions of the region. Through my powers of telepathy, I've managed to lead them safely throughout the many dangers of the ocean. For this, they are truly grateful.

Though I will do all I can to save my oceanic brethren, I try to remain hidden from human sight. My biggest fear is to be captured and returned to my prison, never again to feel the warmth of the Hawaiian seas upon my flesh. I can't be sure if that day will ever come, so instead I must use the time I have been given wisely. I've sworn to protect those who live beneath these waters, and I plan to uphold my promise until my dying breath.
