Aki is a strange creature, one that very few have the pleasure of meeting. An old Jollin, Aki is the mortal embodiment of autumn, or a "solid spirit". He is able to be killed, but will otherwise live for a great time. His muzzle is a snowy white, and gray trims the edge of his long bat-like ears. Streaks of fur starting to turn gray interrupt the creamy brown of his belly, chest, and ear fur. His appearance contrasts greatly with his personality. A kit at heart, the old Jollin can usually be found chasing leaves and racing with the squirrels. A little more mature around Kyshumi, he can be a bit of a big brother. Though she can't come out during winter or summer, the temperature will sometimes be just right for her to come out of the Garden in autumn and admire the beautiful leaves. It makes her sad to see them dying, but she knows she will bring new life after the winter, and Aki takes good care of the plants spirits once they depart from their mortal embodiments. Then both of them fall asleep for the winter, Aki not being young enough anymore to stay awake the entire time and change coats. One day he will be too old to host the spirit of autumn, and he will have to find another to be host. It has always been like this, from the very beginning. Spirits cannot exist outside of a mortal form in this world long, and so they share a body with someone who has similar characteristics. Kyshumi is special in that she can enter the Garden, which keeps things young for eternity. She is much, much older than Aki, but it is uncertain if she will live forever. Her memory is not made to survive so long, so it's reverted to a younger state, leaving her with both a child's heart and mind.
