Revenge isn't something you do part time.

It consumes you. Eventually, everything you do and say has a part in your bigger plan for revenge. Eventually, you have nothing outside of your revenge, and you can't risk letting anything else in. In the end, once the plan is over you know you won't need anything else.

That's the thing about real revenge, it's also sacrifice. I was okay with that. For so long everything had been just about scraping by. Just keep breathing. No more. I was okay that my time was ticking, my breaths numbered.
