Nothing beats a rainy day

The rain came pouring down from the skies that day. Not a single person or creature would dare go outside in this dreary weather. All the people were shut in in their houses while all the wild creatures had nested or had found shelter out from the downpour. While everyone one else looked grudgingly at the rain, there was one who couldn't be more excited to see it.

From his house, an excited Tace grinned from ear to ear while his face pressed against the window. For he knew that after rain came the thing he loved the most. Puddles. Big ones, small ones, clear ones, muddy ones. It didn't matter to him, all that did was the feeling of jumping into one and hearing the "SPLASH" of the water as it soaked you.

In the past, when he had forgetfully raced outside to the puddles without any of his wellies he would develop quite a bad cold. (Not to mention a scolding from his mother!) He had to stay in bed all week long, not enjoying the puddles and just staring at them through his bedroom window. For every night that week it would rain, resulting in some of the best puddles he had ever seen, but because of his cold he wouldn't get to enjoy them. Since that day he hasn't forgot to wear his wellies ever again.

Tace is a loving and caring person, I've never seen him hurt even a fly. (Anthony on the other hand....) and he's not the sort to complain or get angry. There is however one thing he despises. Baths. You would think for someone who loves puddles and getting wet so much they would naturally enjoy a bath, but not Tace. He claims it's something about the soapy water, and the way the rubber duck squeaks. There was also something about not knowing the source of the water, but I couldn't quite follow him.

Anthony the Taddy

Tace met Anthony on one particular muddy day. He was jumping over a set of murky brown puddles when out of no where came a very loud "RIBBBBBBITTTTT" which startled Tace so much that he lost his balance and fell onto his back, into the very puddle is had just jumped over. From the water came a set of two big black eyes pearing up at Tace. The little green taddy then jumped onto his stomach, and looked curiously at Tace. They've been inseparable ever since. No one really knows where the name of Anthony came from, whenever it came from the taddy himself or if Tace just made it up.
