my name is James, I'm the owner-slash-manager-slash-barista-slash-librarian-slash-reference desk-slash... well, you get what I mean. As you can see, we carry many books. Our goal is to have at least one copy of every single book in all of Subeta.

I spent the first half of my life scouring every corner of the map looking for rare books, lost manuscripts, out-of-print newspapers and magazines. If it's in print, I want it in my store. The stories I could tell you! There was this one time, on Atebus....

Apologies, sometimes I go for quite some time without having anyone wander in to speak with. But you're not here for me, you're here for the books, of course! They speak for themselves if you ask me.

I currently have over 2027 titles in stock, with more coming in weekly. I have everything from "A Fairy Tale" to "Zombies 101" and everything in between; histories, romance, biographies, letters and scrolls, even a few dance manuals somewhere. I just need to acquire more space to keep up with the influx of stock in storage.

You'll find some nice squashy armchairs scattered throughout the store. Feel free to kick up your feet, curl into the cushions and explore the wonder of the written word for a few hours. There's a coffee bar in the back if you get thirsty, it's just past the general fiction section, on the left of the Zombie Den aisle. I bake all of the cookies in my spare time, and they're pretty amazing, if I do say so myself. I learned how to bake from Fantine herself you know! Well, I learned it from her cookbook anyway. I think I still have a copy, somewhere around here.

Anyway, take a look around. When you came in I happened to be right in the middle of a very fascinating chapter of the newest biography about Queen Bumbus that I'd really like to get back into.
