I'm Lea Carter. There I stood in front of my bathroom mirror, just barely tall enough to lean over the sink and peer at my face. I lightly patted on some rose eyeshadow that matched the thin pink highlights in my blond hair almost exactly. I made sure my eyelashes were perfectly curled and adorned with mascara, and added some color to my cheeks with a blush compact. It had to be perfect, because tonight would be a wonderful night, and I wanted nothing to go wrong.
Br>I waited until the sun would go down, leaving a burning sky consisting of blue, pink, and orange, my heart already pounding and my blood pumping. Nervous for another special night, I had the inspiration in me. When I decided I was ready, I tiptoed upstairs and through the completely dark hallway that lead to my bedroom, which was also completely dark except for a spectrum of evening sky light pouring in through my window. Using that light, I found my guitar, picked it up and plugged it in to my little practice amp, found my pick which was intertwined in the strings at the end of my fretboard, played a soft and elegant rock tune and sang my heart out, my soft voice swinging back and forth in my bedroom, flowing with the grace of the music itself. Tonight was my night, and the music made me sway, as butterflies danced inside of me.

We are so alike, and the sound of your piano is as pure as your heart.
