I did not enjoy my first cup of tea. Just a little cub, starry eyed and with a notable sweet tooth, I winced when the bitter aromatic drink touched my tongue. But I loved the scent. I took a shine to nosing through the teabags and mixes in my mother's cupboard, learning the names, the individual aromas, the colors... With a sharp eye, and a few botany books in paw, it was actually easy and enjoyable to hunt down the components of various teas in the forests. The care my friend, Herb, and I took to spot out the herbs and flowers that we'd put into our mixes turned our simple curiosity into a hobby.
