Doujinshi is a young woman with a quiet, modest disposition and a love of being left alone to her own devices. She's incredibly intelligent but lacks the drive to do anything but stay in her room and partake in fandom-related activities. Reclusive and shy, Doujinshi rarely leaves her room unless she is somehow convinced to leave by her friends, but once she's comfortable with where she is she often opens up.

Some would say she is cowardly, but more often than not she's just afraid to come out of her shell and try new things. No matter what she tries, the first time she attempts something always seems to be disasterous, and so she prefers to stick to things she knows she likes. It is almost impossible to make her act impulsively. The only person who ever really has any success in that respect is her friend Nerdy, and even he has trouble.

Pachinko is Doujinshi's mother, and their relationship is polite but strained. Bukkake is her older sister, and they love one another although they don't often get to spend time together. Because of the tense relationship between her mother and her sister, Doujinshi often feels as if she's caught in the middle of a never-ending battle.

She's a closet romantic, but doesn't really desire romance in her own life. Although she is sure that she will find love one day, she doesn't seek it and enjoys the single life. She's completely unaware of Nerdy's one-sided crush on her, and it's unlikely that she will ever find out because he values their friendship too much to risk it.

She spends most of her time in her room, reading, writing or drawing and hoping that she will gain recognition for her skills. Unfortunately, that seems to be going nowhere, and she often wonder if she will ever become more independent. And so she remains closed up in her room, hoping to find an occupation she can be truly passionate about.
