It is cruel, you know, that music should be so beautiful. It has the beauty of loneliness of pain: of strength and freedom. The beauty of disappointment and never-satisfied love. The cruel beauty of nature and everlasting beauty of monotony.
Benjamin Britten

Oh the werewolf, oh the werewolf
Comes stepping along
He don't even break the branches where he's gone
Once I saw him in the moonlight, when the bats were a flying
I saw the werewolf, and the werewolf was crying

Cryin' nobody knows, nobody knows, body knows
How I loved the man, as I teared off his clothes
Cryin' nobody know, nobody knows my pain
When I see that it's risen; that fool moon again

For the werewolf, for the werewolf has sympathy
For the werewolf, somebody like you and me.
And only he goes to me, man this little flute I play
All through the night, until the light of day, and we are doomed to play

For the werewolf, for the werewolf, has sympathy
For the werewolf, somebody like you and me

He laid back in the chair, his feet dangling over the side as he softly played his guitar. A smoke hung loosely between his lips and a half bottle of beer sat next to him on the floor. Suddenly the door opened and a figured stepped in, Jenocyd casually looked over at him and went back to playing. The figure walked and sat in the chair opposite Jenocyd, his eyes never leaving the book he held in his hand.
Jenocyd glanced over at the title of the book and up at the man reading it.
"Doing research I see."
The man took his eyes away and looked over.
"Yes, it seems I have a cleansing I have to do in a few days."
"Sounds Fun." Jenocyd replied as they both went back to their music and reading.
Minutes pass and once again the door opened and a rather intimidating figure arrived. Both men shifted nervously in their seats as the man walked in, his presence seemed to be less welcomed but he didn't notice. He grabbed one of Jenocyd's beers and in any other incident, Jenocyd would of threatened the person life but in this case, he let it slide. Knowing full well, it was unwise to get Al upset.
As the three sat in silence, outside the line to get into the club was beginning to grow. A large sign on one of the windows announced that Amaranthus was playing which was the name of Jenocyd's band. His band was one of the most requested acts at Blood Line and He always draws the crowds in especially the women.Jenocyd stretched and rose from his chair. Either of the other two men barely gave him a glance as one was looking at an Anatomy book while the other was still engrossed in his.
He drank down the rest of his beer and crushed his smoke into the ashtray before leaving the room. He made his way upstairs to the office where Vallo sat at his desk working. His fingers moving through piles of documents before signing them.
"Expected to be a large crowd tonight."
" Seems so." Jenocyd replied, plopping himself down on the leather sofa.
"Full moon in 3 days." Vallo took his eyes off his paper and looked up at his friend. His long legs hung over the edge of the small sofa, he looked over at Vallo.
"Yeah, the pack is meeting on the estate. Hopefully things go well this time around."
"Being alpha male isn't all fun and games is it?"
" No but my father was the alpha male and it is tradition for the son to inherit the pack on the father's death."
Jenocyd glance up at the clock, one hour before he had to go on stage.
"Seems like I must cut our little chat short my friend." Vallo nodded and went back to his papers and Jenocyd left the room to go do one more sound check.

We took you right
From your mother?s home
Our temple, your tomb
Can be your pick
Not pawned
The poison is blood
The Wolf by Fever Ray

Jenocyd is Alpha male of one of the largest packs of werewolves in the state. His family is also one of the oldest werewolf families and is rumored to be one of the first carriers of the lycan gene. He runs one of the largest lycan packs in North America which he took over when his father died.
