Diedrich watched the outside world, beyond the window of his tiny book shop. He flipped his long, snowy white hair and sat behind the desk to read a worn book, to ignore the fuss of what was beyond his window. He lit his favorite incense, rose garden, and relaxed, forgetting about the foolish world in which he lived.
The icy drake loved books. He lived for books and the knowledge they contain. Diedrich gave a rare smile as the bell above the door rang. He looked up from his book. "Welcome, what may I do for you today?" He was polite and helped his customer find the book that they wanted, happy to be spreading the knowledge of books, then sort of shooed them away to get back to his own book. Though he was polite by nature, he really didn't like people. Unless they were on the same intellectual scale as himself, which he convinced himself that there weren't. The ice drake returned to the quiet world of his book, wondering if there was a person in the world in which he could relate...
