Left out/loner isolates self, has never felt quite right... something has always felt off, as though born in the wrong body but not quite. more like... half her soul was removed.

turns out she and her brother are ancient beings continuously reborn together, a sort of "avatar last airbender" type deal. but more like Tui and La, the moon and ocean spirits in fish form....

But then, should I change them to fish? Or is this a story about them being lost out of form....
tui and la reincarnation - Eternity is Tui, the ocean spirit - frozen ocean spirit.
Somehow they were separated this reincarnation, and spent the first ten years or so apart before being adopted by the same family.

Eternity (Tui) had taken her emptiness very hard, and desperately sought out whatever was missing, to the ends of subeta and beyond. She met Novera in her travels and immediately felt a connection. Though Novera is not a being with much feeling, they developed a mutual respect and curiosity and Novera, suspecting Eternity's true identity, helped find her a safe home to anchor her while she found herself. Novera and her mate Nasamruno then decided to stick around to guide and supervise her. Nasamruno may have nudged fate a bit when he -stumbled- onto the also abandoned Dracath (La), and suggested he be adopted as well. I love that the stories are falling together the more I flesh out each personality. <3
